my DPB starts up fine on NT 4.0 server (no Distr Error 52)
but the PBCGI60.exe cannot connect to it (PBWebRunRequest : Failed to Connct)
My C:WinntPbWeb.ini has the following entries :
[statz]
driver=winsock
application=fillrate
location=localhost

and C:WinntSystem32Driversetcservices files has :
fillrate 10013/tcp
[10013 is not listed anywhere else in services]

The form Action string is :
/scripts/pbcgi60.exe/statz/uo_define_rpt/uof_params/

The Application property in my transport object has 'fillrate'

All this works fine on my NT Workstation but not on the server

Any suggestions ?

yes - it serves up the first page which contains the form but when i submit
that form with the cgi call, it throws up
either my DPB app or PBcgi60.exe (or both) are not finding the Services file.

Nick,

It sounds like you've covered all the bases. Try this as a workaround. Change
the application property of your transport object to '10013/tcp' instead of
fillrate.

Is the entry the last one in the Services file if so add a hard return and try
running the app again.
