In my application I have used f_SetArgumentValue to store a users 'role' (1,2
or 3). When trying to retrieve this role using f_GetArgumentValue I get an
ii_errorcode of -4 'Retrieval failed for the www_session_argument table'. It
doesn't error on the transaction, and I've manually checked that the sessionid
and argument name are the same as in the database. Any ideas as to what is
going wrong?

John,

Are you checking the is_errormsg variable of the u_session? It'll have the
SQLDBCODE and SQLERRTEXT in it.

Yet again the blindingly obvious went unnoticed. Although the transaction
object was perfectly valid it was connecting to the database in a different
schema. Hence the error message saying that the table or view did not exist.
Time for a bit of database tidying up I think.
