I am working on developing a powerbuilder web application. This is a simple
application that has few tables, few data windows and windows. Its a databse
of music and videos. I would like to create a web site and let users browse
through this collection. What are the steps to get this done? How do I
actually develop the application, post it on the web and have users access it.
There will be no updates or any data validation, just search and view.

You should start with chapter 3. It shows how to create a simple browsing
application using the example PB database. Once you get the hang of things,
you can change it to use your database. From there, chapter 7 will show you
how to dress-it-up, so to speak, with fancier screens. If you want to allow
searching (or otherwise accept data from the user), see the chapter on data
entry.

I was able to set up a PBWeb server and got it running. In addition, I can
view data window and window plug ins. I have plug ins under c:websitehtdocs.
How can I give access to other people on the internet access to my WebServer
stuff. I noticed that I can assign IP address through web server wizard. Do I
have to set up IP address? I am not sure what are the mechanics. Suppose I
have space on internet's provider's site where I can write html code. How can
I use that web space to run that sample application?
