Hi Iain,

The book is really greate. I am a software engineer from VietNam. Now, my project need embeding some chat features. I've also taken references to Jive Sofware. The libraries are really good. However, they are somehow not suitalbe for my project.
Therefore, could I use your source code, modify or develop my software based on your source code ?

regards,

Nick.

Re: Permission for using your source code
Hello,

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, you may certainly use the book source code for anything you like: modify it, sell it, embed it in commercial or open source projects, etc. The only provision is that I'm not responsible for the code or what it does (use it at your own risk), and you shouldn't use my name in any advertising or product without my written permission. Glad you find it useful!
