I like to suggest an additional subchapter showing how to write where statements for inner joins, where the right side of the join is the base class of a class hierarchy and fields of subclasses used in the condition.

example: groupbid is a subclass of bid and has a field kind

Does the following work (or how can this be solved)?

from Item item
join item.bids bid
where groupbid.kind = ?

Kind regards
Juergen
