Hi,

Having an example of the full build.xml used here may help the beginner. Here you are:

<?xml version="1.0"?>

<!-- ======================================================================= <br /> <!-- toto xdoclet build file. Generates an html todo list in the <br /> <!-- ${src.dir}/todo directory <br /> <!-- ======================================================================= -->

<project name="XDtodo" default="todo" basedir=".">

<property environment="env"/>
<property name="src.dir" value="${basedir}/src"/>
<property name="lib.dir" location="${env.ANT_HOME}/lib"/>
<property name="xdoclet.lib.dir" location="${env.XDOCLET_HOME}lib"/>

<path id="xdoclet.lib.path">
<fileset dir="${lib.dir}" includes="*.jar"/>
<fileset dir="${xdoclet.lib.dir}" includes="*.jar"/>
</path>

<taskdef name="documentdoclet" >
classname="xdoclet.modules.doc.DocumentDocletTask"
classpathref="xdoclet.lib.path" />

<target name="todo">
<documentdoclet destdir="${src.dir}/todo">
<fileset dir="${src.dir}">
<include name="**/*.java" />
</fileset>
<info />
</documentdoclet>
</target>
</project>

Re: Chapter 2 - first build.xml (for gathering @todo's)
Does the basedir attribute in the project element change the behaviour of the contained tasks/targets ?
