Hi all.

Does any one know of a [trick | anttask] that allows to check a path, meaning that each elements of a path is valid ?
I think this would be really useful to debug ant scripts : In an "init" target, it could allow to check all ${xxx.jar}, ${xxx.dir}, ${xxx.classpath} before starting building anything.

Spec :
For a directory or a file, it would check that the dir or the file exists ; for a fileset, it would check that all patterns in the fileset refer to at least an existing file or an existing directory.

Re: How to check a path ?
There is the available task to check that a directory exists. Please post general Ant questions that are not directly related to this book to the Ant user e-mail list.
