I have read ADO.NET and think you did a great job. I am about to develop a new application using .NET. I an new to .NET and I am trying to find out what is the best way to separate the different layers. I have seen from chapter 18 that you are not a great fan of using the built in Design tools. Changes to the database are not automatically reflected there. Is there a source you can point me to that will show me what to use in each layer. I imagine my application having four layers. GUI, client business logic, server business logic and the database. A great subject for a new book would be to take a real application such as a subset of HEAT and show how you would develop the complete module using a web and then a form interface. Show all the pro and cons of the different development methods.
