Hi Neal,

My name is Saqib Chowdhry, and I work for Salmon LLC in New York. Salmon LLC has released an open-source, free GPL J2EE framework called SOFIA (Salmon Open Framework for Internet Applications). I was wondering if you have given this framework a try or not. I haven't had exposure to any of the frameworks you have mentioned in your book, although I have heard of many of them. I have been using SOFIA for about 3 years now, and I along with many people out there are totally sold on it. Obviously, I may be a little biased, since I work for Salmon LLC as well. But I thought maybe it would be beneficial for you to give SOFIA a try if you haven't already. I am very interested in purchasing your book, and going through the example code for the different frameworks out there, especially Struts.

For some more info on SOFIA, please go to http://www.salmonllc.com/sofia. It can be downloaded at http://sourceforge.net/projects/salmon. I would be very interested in your comments on SOFIA. Thanks, and take care!

Re: SOFIA framework...
Hi Saqib,
I've been using SOFIA framework for quite some time. While going thr' through the examples on salmon.com website, i found a tag <salmon:detailformdisplaybox ... >
in example18 .
I don't find the details of this tag in .tld file. I am using version2.1

Thx
