I have recently downloaded your sample code and installer and have experienced
two problems with the installer that have been documented several times on
this forum.

The 'SQL Server does not exist' problem is still existing in the current
version of the installer. I have overcome this problem by changing 'localhost'
to my local server name as per the message from Dominique Plante (Feb 17
2003).

The second problem is: 'Login failed for user 'sa'. Not associated with a
trusted SQL Server connection.' has not been resolved.

I would appreciate it if you could email me an updated version of the
installer program to debri111@bigpond.com.au

Thank you

Does the version of the installer you are using have an option for "Use
Windows Authentication"? If so, that is probably the latest version. That
_should_ be the version up on the web site.

No. The installer I downloaded has the following fields

Name
User ID
Password
'Create database if it doesn't exist' checkbox

I'm not sure what happened - somehow the latest version of the installer has
been lost. I will e-mail you a zip file.
