Does anyone have any comments concerning kXML-RPC and kSOAP

http://kxmlrpc.enhydra.org/project/aboutProject/index.html

Seems like SOAP is winning the standards battle and is supported by Sun's Java
WSDP in the form of JAX-RPC but it sounds like XML-RPC is lighter weight and
at least on the server side also supported by Apache

http://xml.apache.org/xmlrpc/

and documented in books like O'Reilly's "Programming Web Services with
XML-RPC" (sorry to mention the competition).

Has anyone used kXML-RPC or kSOAP in a J2ME application? I sure would like to
see this considered in the next version of "Java 2 Micro Edition".
