Deploying client-server applications with dotnet seems to be very complicated
if the client machine does not have the Framework installed beforehand. Does
Microsoft have any plans on including the Framework in a service pack or
Internet Explorer so that it will reside on the majority of computer without
users having to take extra steps? Or, is there an easy way for me to include
the dotnetredist.exe with my installation program?

Re: .Net Deployment

Hi Floyd,

Go to http://msdn.microsoft.com and search for "dotnetfx". You'll find
several articles about deploying .NET apps.

Eventually there'll be a Windows .NET, a Windows CE.NET, etc... but I don't
know when.
