Hello. I've got the book on order. I'm very serious about writing a midi
sequencer from scratch to implement all the interface ideas I have in my head.
The basic idea is to outdo the commercial products, aim it at the amature
musician, and make it the best composing/sequencing tool ever. They are many,
I know, but they all work pretty much the same way. I want to take it to the
next level. Are there any programmers out there like me that want to
collaborate? I'm a composer and experienced c++ programmer. Ideal partners
in crime would also be experienced and serious c++ programmers for windows or
mac (i'd like it to be multi platform but I'm a pc guy). I'm planning on
having multiple versions of the interface, one arcade game style in DirectDraw
and the other more traditional in GDI. The entire interface will be decoupled
from the sequencing engine, actually.

Thanks,
Aaron
