I have a JSP that uses two PB NVO components. These components retrieve a list
of districts, and a list of schools, and uses the resultsets to populate two
combo boxes. When the user selects the district, the page is reloaded with the
district ID being passed to the new page, and the school list is retrieved
using the district ID as an argument.
Both of these NVO's have activate & deactivate events, but neither of them
have the autodemarcation/deactivation checked.
Question 1 : Do I need to check this box in order to make them stateless?
Question 2 : If I select that check box, the second page does not load. Why?
Question 3 : Do I need to store that district ID number somewhere to get it
to work properly?

Yes!

Not sure - you will have to paste some code

You will likely need to pass it using URL page parameters or store it in a
session object

Sorry, no reply for a while, I did get the components to work properly. It
turns out that with regard to question 2, the components did not have pooling
checked, which was why they were not loading properly on the second page.
