I know this might be a simple question, but I can't figure out how to retrieve
and display a datawindow using a browser as the client. I can do it using HTML
Datawindows, but we really would like to go with a really THIN client.

I have been through both your books, "Jaguar Dev w/ PB7" and "Taming Jaguar".
They are both really good books, probably too advanced for me in some areas. I
have studied Taming Jaguar CH 10, and I've tried to use the servlet examples
there. It seems I'm in way over my head.

Give it time - this is a lot of new material. In no time you be building apps.

In general a Jag component (PB, Java etc) retrieves the data

WHOOPS - hate when I post to early...

In general a Jag component (PB, Java etc) retrieves the data (for PB in a
datastore) and converts it into a Tabular:ResultSet object

This object can be returned to a PowerDynamo, JSP, Servlet etc. which can walk
thru the ResultSet data (after converting it into a java.sql.ResultSet) and
builds an HTML table which shows up in the browser.
