Early in the book you describe blockchain as being just a small part of Bitcoin. This is incorrect, and misleading - I think you could provide a more accurate description of how these overlap (but are not mutually inclusive) without derailing the topic. For instance, perhaps have a chart with two overlapping circles, showing how Bitcoin and Blockchain are mutually related, but also where blockchain technology branches out to many other areas of software and industry.

The Bitcoin blockchain is a database format that bitcoin uses to store transaction data, which makes it convenient to send parts of the database (blocks) to peers across the Internet. The blockchain could have been designed in some different way, and it'd still work.

Different people put different meaning into the word "blockchain". I just choose to look at it from a strictly technical perspective.
