I'm trying out the HelloWorldTag.jsp example and I'm getting the following
error:

Unable to open taglibrary http://www.manning.com/jsptagsbook/simple-taglib :
Could not locate TLD META-INF/taglib.tld

I'm typing the URI as shown in the book. What might be causing this problem?

Hi Matt,
I would suspect that you've missplaced the taglib.tld.
It should be placed in your Web-modules WEB-INF folder and referenced from
your web.xml located in /WEB-INF/web.xml of your Web-module.
Please let me know if you have further problems.

I'm typing the URI as shown in the book. I have the simpletag.tld in my
/testapp/Web-inf directory, I have modified the web.xml file for this app to
add the uri pointing to this directory. What might be causing this problem?
This is with Tomcat 3.2. Is the jsp runtime looking for a taglib.tld apart
from the simpletag.tld I have created?
I would appreciate your response to this.
Thanks,
Srini

I resolved this, it had to do with storing the TLD file properly. Simple
though as it looks now, after finding ir out!

Driving home theater System
Hai,

I have bought the JMX in Action book recently, I haven't worked out any examples. I have come across the JMX using JMS Driving Home Theater System. Actually I am working in a project using JMS. Can I use Bluetooth Technology instead of IR Signal Transmitter. If so, how can I do it? Please reply me as I am working in the project.

Thanks

Srini

I have bought the JMX in Action book recently, but I have not worked out the examples. In the Driving Home Theater System example, I have to use the Bluetooth instead of IR Signal Transmitter. I am working on the project with BlueTooth technology. Please guide me in using the Bluetooth Technology, using JMX and JMS.
