You should develop your applets as JavaBeans. With this approach you have get
and set related methods. The get methods are used to retrieve values from an
applet. Once the Applet/JavaBean is loaded in your JSP page, you can access
the get/set methods to retreive/populate member data values in other Java code
on the page. This is the place to interface with Oracle.
