I have the first edition of this book.
What are the salient differences from the first edition?

Thanks,

Rk

Hi there, Manning editor here; I worked on the second edition and can tell you that the big difference is three new chapters on topics that have become important since the first edition was published: AWS Lambda for automating operational tasks; EFS for sharing data volumes between machines; and Elasticache for caching data in memory. The authors have also painstakingly updated every chapter from the first edition to reflect changes that AWS has made to core services and how to access them.
Thanks for your interest!

Hi!

Thanks Frances!

Besides the new chapters, we converted all Examples from CloudFormation JSON templates to YAML which is much more readable and shorter. Not to mention dozens of small changes to reflect latest AWS features and enhancements.
