I had a quick question on Listing 6.9. In the description (2) it says call is a "blocking" method. But from what it looks like in the redux-saga documentation is that call is a non-blocking effect.

Described here:

Under first try: it describes call in the following manner "We can make asynchronous calls using the call Effect"

I was wondering if you could clarify why the call effect is considered blocking? Is it because the call effect returns immediately with a description of the call but the actual request will be resolved asynchronously by the middleware?

I believe understand now - it's blocking because of the yield.
