On page 20 of Camel in Action, there is a paragraph about "Consumers": "A consumer is the service that receives messages produced by a producer, wraps them in an exchange, and sends them to be processed."

Should this be "... that receives messages from an endpoint, ..." ? The previous section describes a producer as "... an entity capable of creating and sending a message to an endpoint"; that description does not mention a producer's interaction with a consumer.

It makes more sense to me if a consumer receives messages from an endpoint, rather than a producer; it appears that, in Camel, consumers and producers are the entities that bridge the space between components and endpoints. But perhaps I'm misunderstanding something.
