Hello,

About Version MEAP v15 : In §11.1.2 "The PowerShell remoting subsystem" I read :

PowerShell allows you to start an interactive session using the Enter-PSSession cmdlet. Once you’ve entered a remote session, you can suspend the session without closing the remote connection by using Exit-PSSession. Because the connection isn’t closed, you can later reenter the session with all session data preserved by using Enter-PSSession again. An example of an interactive session is given in figure 11.2.

PS> Enter-PSSession -ComputerName W12R2SUS

Yet the help page of "Exit-PSSession" reads :

If you use the ComputerName parameter, Enter-PSSession creates a temporary session that it closes when the interactive session ends.

If I understand well, and if the help page is correct, the book should therefore specify "Once you’ve entered a remote session with the '-Session' parameter, you can suspend the session without closing the remote connection by using Exit-PSSession" ; and, to be consistent, the example should mention the "-Session" parameter and not the "-ComputerName" parameter.

kind regards

Renaud
