Polymer paper-slider is not visible in Firefox (and IE, Edge...)

So, I can't change effects with these browsers.

Is it possible to provide an alternative ?

How to check compatibility ?

Firefox 53.0.2 (64-bit), LInux Mint 1.0. fails to display sliders on Linux Mint 18 LTS - Sarah,
Ubuntu 16.04 LTS - Xenial Xerus, Debian 8 - Jessie

using
<script src="http://elm-in-action.com/polyfill/webcomonents.js"></script> in index.html header as described in 'Polyfilling Custom Elements...' box resolves issue.

Google Chrome Version 60.0.3112.113 (Official Build) (64-bit) displays sliders without polyfill being added to index.html.
