In chapter 2, you say, "The following example won't work in Microsoft Windows because ... doesn't come with tar and curl commands". As of The Anniversary Update to Windows 10, there is a developer mode which installs a bash shell including Curl and Tar. You might want to mention this. It makes executing the curl examples much easier.
