Earlier i had posted a wrong information regarding keyTyped event and consume

1) Actually in jre1.2.2 the keyTyped event and consume does work fine(i.e.
plugin environment).The problem is with jre1.2.1 .Here the keyTyped event and
consume fails completely whereas there is no problem with keyPressed event and
consume.Is it a bug in jre1.2.1(i.e. plugin environment) and has it been fixed
till date.Is there any solution to rectify this in jre1.2.1.
2) In jre1.2.2(i.e. plugin environment)the applet takes considerable time to
get initialized compared to jre1.2.1(i.e. plugin environment).The applet in
question uses 15-20 gifs and we use Windows NT server.Is there any solution to
improve the download speed in jre1.2.2(i.e plugin environment).The same applet
gets downloaded and initialized in no time in jre1.2.1(i.e plugin
environment)!!!
