Hi all,
I am preparing a document on JFC coding standards. (Basically this
document will provide an overview on most of the Swing components and list the
techniques for "best use" for each component as well as performance tips for
each component. Is anyone aware of any resource that would provide any/all of
the above.
Thanks,
Shailendra.

Re: Links to Swing coding standards

I don't know of any Swing coding standards. The Swing Connection used to have
a bunch of articles that mentioned performance tips and techniques, but most
have disappeared with the absense of Mark Andrews. Since then things have gone
down the tubes.

I would suggest skimming the books you have, or getting one or two more to
skim, and compiling some coding standards yourself. This would be an
interesting new resource.
