I have an interest in Iot and own a RPi 3 and some other computing hardware (RPi 1, Sheeva plug, some FPGA's and some older PIC's) smilie

The links on your website (those from the book) list one with a list of wireless sensor nodes (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wireless_sensor_nodes).

Can you anyhow mention what implementations do exist (as products)?

I had a look at some with especially low power consumtion and extremely low sleep power consumption.

Do you mention some practical nodes in your book?

Thanks, Lothar

Hi Lothar,

The book focused on the Raspberry Pi. In terms of low power nodes chapter 4 talks about a few options. Appendix A also tells you more about the Arduino platform which is a good starting point for low-power IoT prototypes.
