Thats not true for the normal python console:

marcel@marcel-dev ~ $ python3
Python 3.5.2 (default, Nov 17 2016, 17:05:23)
[GCC 5.4.0 20160609] on linux
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> 3+2
5
>>> print(3+2)
5

This has also influence on quick check 3-2 when the python console is used.

Thanks for your message! You're right. Using the "console" will not show "Out[]". Using the "IPython Console" (which is what opens by default after you first install the program) will.
