Is there any swing component like StatusBar?

How to use StatusBar to show messages in applets while running in the java
enabled browser?

If you want to set the text of the browser's status bar you need
to get your applet's AppletContext with the getAppletContext() method.
Then call the AppletContext's showStatus() method, passing it the
String you want to display in the browser's status bar.

If you want your own status bar use a non-editable JTextField or a
JLabel and set its text on the fly.
