I already own the 1st edition of this book, how much is new in the 2nd edition?

$60 is a lot to spend if only 5% of the book is updated.

Thanks

Manning does give 50% off if you are updating from a previous edition, which helps a bit.

How do I get the 50% discount?

I'm logged into my account and can see my 1st edition in there, but when I add the 2nd edition to the basket it is coming up as full price.

Thanks

Send an email to support@manning.com

They will send you a discount coupon you can use on the purchase of the second edition.

There is a whole new chapter on the parallel algorithms from C++17, plus additions and corrections to every chapter to cover C++14, C++17 and the Concurrency TS.
