It is worth spelling out to readers what browser developer tools are relevant or recommended - as these are very useful for the reader as they are working through the code samples. In addition, an annex on getting / using these browser developer tools across the main browsers would be useful.

Taking Chrome as an example - the "React Developer Tools" extension adds an additional tab for React to the standard Chrome Developer tools:
This shows the React components and props, children etc...
