Is it possible to get one of the other chapters available as a free preview in addition to the first chapter? I'd like to see how the new edition is going to be different from the first, and the first chapter that is available is pretty much identical to the first edition (other than removing a small section), as is to be expected. A second free preview chapter (one covering some of the more extensive changes, or new material not in the first edition) would be very helpful for being able to compare them.

That first chapter can be very helpful for new buyers deciding to purchase the book, but is not very helpful for those of us deciding to upgrade to the new edition or not.

Well, the decision what to make public is the publisher's. I will forward your suggestion to them.

That being said, the 2nd edition is going to be quite different from the 1st. The number of chapters grows from 15 to 20, and basically all of the existing chapters change, many of them fundamentally. The 2nd ed is going to be far more than just a minor revision of the 1st.
