hi there,
I agree with Tomas, the book is just great and full of good advice. I wish I had it 15 years ago where I was a fresh new grad beginning my career. Nonetheless, John's insights are still very valuable &useful, no matter where in the journey you find yourself now. I enjoyed for example the chapter on working remotely, since I recognize the challenges the book mentions.

All in all, an investment worth its price.

Almost 20 years ago there was Journey of the Software Professional by Luke Hohmann which has a somewhat similar approach. Different time though.
