It's been six months since this book was updated. Are there any more chapters coming?

Re: More Chapters?
Yes, chapter four is in review, should be available shortly. Unfortunately our day jobs are going exceptionally well at the moment, slowing down progress on the book; we would love to go faster if we could.

That's great for you that your day jobs are going exceptionally well (that wasn't expected when you committed to write the book?), but consider that some of us just paid close to $50 for a product with an estimated release of "Spring 2015". Now that we have acceas to the MEAP forum, we learn that "Spring 2016" would be a more realistic estimate. You might want to disclose your revised schedule on the page that solicits the purchase.

Yeah, it does seem unlikely to get to the "expected Spring 2015" without some greater commitment ...

During Scala.IO I heard that Chapter4 is `going to be released in the matter of days`. Oh come on.

Hi, everyone.

Roland and I apologize for the delays. The next MEAP is staged with a significant rewrite of the first three chapters, now broken out into a set of sections with more clarity in structure. We will release what was Chapter 4, now chapter 11, later this week.

Apologies for delays.

An update to the book’s webpage has also been submitted (but not yet published by Manning).
