This is not true:

I'm a Java-boy but I found the whole paragraph disturbing -- it sounds like Ruby-bashing. Please rewrite it in order to give your Argument more Support.

Also I don't buy the remark about the performance penalties of dynamic types. There are too many aspects depending on the particular implementation of the given language: virtual machine, Bytecode, method dispatch -- the authors should give more Details about their Claim.
