Hi,

will the e-book receive updates (e.g. error corrections) after the offical book release? And if not, is there a plan for an official, web accessible errata?

Re: e-book updates after offical release?
Hi,

Did you spot a typo somewhere?
There will be an online errata made available in a few weeks. You'll be able to find it on the book webpage: http://manning.com/urma

Thanks,
Raoul

Re: e-book updates after offical release?
No I didn't spot a typo [1], but I think it's kind of "normal" having errors in Books unless you take so much time like Knuth. smilie And personally I like them listed somewhere even if some authors may find that uncomfortable. smilie

[1] But I might have found something else. On Page 154 you give a hint that you could leave the collectors combiner()-method implementation empty (while empty means returning null). I actually wrote my first real life Collector and it will throw the UnsupportedOperationException even if you are not using xxxx.stream().parallel.doStuff. So the only feasible way seems to be returning null if you don't or can't implement that method.
