The book features an example schema on page 59 which I tried to model using Schema Workbench.

To my surprise SW offers a whole lot of buttons for add this and add that but no one for adding an "attribute". I assume there is a reason for that or maybe I just didn't look close enough.

I believe you can't. Schema Workbench doesn't seem to support mondrian 4.0.

I'm working in plain text XML files. Some people write schemas using Eclipse.
