May I know what is the simplest setup of a topology? Meaning, can a topology contains only one node (spout or bolt)?

Or, a topology must contain at least one spout node and one bolt node?

Re: A simplest topology
Sorry for the delayed reply.

Was distracted working on the book and at work.

The simplest topology would consist of 1 spout and 1 bolt (plus 1 acker).
