I'm just discovering your book and appreciate the effort you made that may save me (and others I hope) a lot of time discovering the main java 8 new concepts.

It seems to me that the Streams (as you describe then in the first chapters are conceptually equivalent to what we called CMS Pipes in the time of IBM Mainframes and the VM-CMS system. If as I expect now these concepts bring to java the same supplemental power that CMS Pipe brought to Rexx we are just at the first door of paradise.

Did you find the chapters on Streams: 4 & 5 useful? Any feedback to improve the understanding? Anything you found unclear?
