I'm unclear on when the keyOn and keyOff functions affect the wave, relative to time passing. I really like Figure 6.2, which compares an enveloped square wave to a plain one.

Maybe some annotations on that would help? I'm thinking something like this: http://imgur.com/PNgCrah (I'm not sure if I put the arrows in the right place, which kind of makes my point.)

I think the ADSR stuff could use the same.

Totally good call on annotating that figure.
Also likely the ADSR one, to show where keyOn
begins the A portion, and keyOff begins the R part.
