Hi Ken,

Just getting started with the MEAP after seeing you speak at the Dallas JavaMUG meeting. Below are a couple items I wanted to bring to your attention:

Page 9 - just before you start section 1.1.4 - you mention Java's checked exceptions but make no mention of Groovy and how it differs from the Java implementation, so the reader is left wondering what point you may have about this in Groovy and possibly forgot to make?

Pages 7 and 11 - in the code sample in both cases, the size() method is underlined which makes me think it is from a screen shot inside Eclipse, like when it can't be sure that method exists. This may be a bit confusing to readers, wondering why is that underlined?

Page 15 - 2nd paragraph reads 'Here is a list many of the...", think you are missing the word 'of' - Here is a list of many of the ...
