I was really excited to see the new PostgresApp from Mattt/Heroku. That's probably my favorite recent development in the postgres arena.

You didn't mention homebrew? I know I first looked for a mention of PostgresApp, but my second choice was homebrew, as I manage a lot of software that way.

We were hesistant to because the homebrew story seemed a little bit in flux. When we updated that section there was homebrew for 1.5, but the 2.0 homebrew was kind of experimental. Things might have changed from a few months ago so we'll recheck and update.
