img[src*=2] outlines all images while img[src*=1], img[src*=3], img[src*=4], img[src*=5], or img[src*=6] only outlines one image as expected.

Put a dot(.) before or after 2 will outline only the second image.

I've tried IE, FireFox, and Chrome, all have the same results.

If you inspect the complete URL of the source of the images,you will see that they each contain the numeral 2 twice. The selector matches on the entirety of the value of src; not just the image name.
