Hey,

Do you think, it is possible to integrate Mondrian in a EJB 3.1 architecture (like Glassfish).
The all examples, i find, are in java web applications ?

It's for a final project study and finally an enterprise solution.

I apologize for my english, i'm french.

Normaly, I'm ordering your book smilie, I'm reading your first chapter.

thanks

Re: Mondrian and EJB
Mondrian is a Java based OLAP engine, so you could embed it into an ESB environment, probably fairly easily. Chapter 10 will have more details on how to embed Mondrian directly into your code.

Re: Mondrian and EJB
thanks for you replay,

I'm trying to do this, but It is not very easy to understand how mondrian uses the cache and
if we must configure this option.

Re: Mondrian and EJB
Several of the caches are automatic (the schema cache and member cache). The extended segment cache you have to configure. Chapter 7, which I'm working on now, covers caching and clearing the cache.
