Hi,

I'm new to Maven, I've managed to get it installed and working but I'm not sure

A) What exactly I need to download from github and
B) What commandes I need to run to get this working in Eclipse.

I'd like to try and run the examples from chapter 3. Great book but please could you provide me with some simple guidence on how to get this set up.

Re: Getting code working
duncwinn,

As you will notice, the code for Chapter 3 is not yet in github. I will be updating the chapter and the code by the end of the week.

Regards,

Joshua

Re: Getting code working
duncwinn,

The code for chapter 3 is available on github. There have been some slight changes that will be reflected in the next MEAP update.

In the meantime, the URL for the "roster" sample application is: http://localhost:8080/sip/main/roster/list.do

The Nominate example has been renamed to Nominee. The new URL is: http://localhost:8080/sip/main/nominee/form.do

While the URLs won't change, I will probably refactor the POM file to leverage the parent POM.

Regards,

Joshua

Re: Getting code working
Duncan,

Are you using Jetty? You can start Jetty by running:

mvn jetty:run

The URL's I provided earlier should work with the latest code. Let me know if you still have problems.
