When can we be expecting chapter 7, part 1 is kinda out of place without chapter 7.

Groovy is pretty cool by the way. (I fast with Java but Groovy just adds another level of fast; Tubo engine fast )

What happened to this chapter that you promised "within the next weeks" back in February? I understand that it takes time to write these books and I definitely like to give people the benefit of the doubt but this defies explanation. It's not like you're starting from scratch with this book as you were with the first edition; a large portion of the book is obviously going to be derived from the first edition so 3-4 years to put this together is completely unreasonable.

What gives? Are we going to get a response or just more silence? If you won't respond then how about someone from Manning? Anything is better than silence and/or vague replies. Understand that I'm not attacking anyone personally but someone needs to take responsibility for keeping customers accurately and honestly updated in a timely fashion.
