I'm trying to picture this, but wouldn't it be the other way around, with CustomerID on the Location table and a foreign key from the location table to the customer table based on CustomerID."

Hi SQLMD,

Thanks so much for posting that. Good catch, it would have been said much better if it were like,

"The Customer table would no longer store the Address, City, and State attributes but would store a LocationID value, with LocationID being defined as a Foreign Key referencing the LocationID Primary Key in the location table."
