I would like to be able to see something happen with CacheMode specified versus not. I tried adding a LayoutUpdated event for the container and for one of the elements involved, but I could never see a difference (they only fire when the size of the container changes.)

What can I look at to prove (aids in grok) that there is something different about having: CacheMode="BitmapCache"?

Re: CacheMode - e.g., Listing 6.9
Usually you'll see the effect if you're animating something on a lower-speed GPU/CPU

Thanks. I'll give it a try.
