They closed it as invalid. That's actually a good thing, because in his description of why it was invalidated, they explained that only the @RooActiveRecord annotation, which builds the entity methods in the entity itself, includes @Configurable. If you use --activeRecord false when building the entity, or replace @RooActiveRecord with @RooJpaEntity, Roo removes the @Configurable annotation.

This is very useful if you're creating a bunch of entities in a group that then get bulk sent to the JPA tier, or processed as value objects, not as entities. Basically it's pulling entities back to values for use in a service -> repository framework, elegantly.

I am really liking what the Roo team has been doing in this release. If you're a fan, you should be watching some of the commits - they're really good ones.
