Two updates that came in with 1.2 (so far) I thought you'd all be interested in. I'm going to put these in the text when I update it (after the current add-on chapters):

Tags - Roo now has a tag update command in web mvc - it even has an option to backup your existing tags.

Select list - showing labels for each item - Roo 1.2 now has an itemLabel property in the select tag. I've updated the chapter text as I'm revamping another confusing note that MikB commented on.

The note now reads:

Tip: Customizing the select field
Title: By default, the display value of the item is rendered using the toString() method of the Course entity.
Text: Roo 1.2 exposes a itemLabel value that you can use to specify the property to display. In earlier versions of Roo you can either customize the select tag or modify your model's toString method.

Re: Roo 1.2 interesting updates in tags
Select a label for a select list is a very interesting feature.

I think it's a mistake to modify the toString() method to fit the view and it's annoying to edit the view tags.

Re: Roo 1.2 interesting updates in tags
ken, I assume here you intended "Text: Roo 1.2 exposes a itemLabel value" rather than "Roo 1.1.2".
